Grape Of The Art - Pellehaut 2005 - Armagnac Ténarèze - 20YO - 49.3% - 70cl -
Produced in the renowned terroir of Ténarèze, this exceptional Armagnac by Grape Of The Art was distilled exclusively from Folle Blanche grapes in November 2005. Matured for 20 years in Single Cask #21 and bottled in April 2026 at natural cask strength (49.3%), this rare vintage is limited to only 225 bottles.
The colour reveals a deep amber gold. The nose opens with refined aromas of dried apricot, candied orange peel, toasted almond and white flowers. On the palate, the texture becomes rich and waxy, developing notes of beeswax, prune, walnut and vanilla-spiced oak, supported by the delicate floral signature of Folle Blanche. The finish is long and warming, extending into dried fruits, spice and a subtle mineral echo of the limestone-rich Ténarèze terroir.

Domaine Pellehaut: One of the Benchmarks of Ténarèze
Located in Montréal-du-Gers, Domaine Pellehaut is an iconic family-owned estate in the Ténarèze region. Known for its clay-limestone terroirs and structured Armagnacs, the estate cultivates several historic Gascon grape varieties, including Folle Blanche, renowned for producing particularly elegant and aromatic eaux-de-vie after long ageing.
At Pellehaut, every step — from vineyard management to distillation and maturation — is carried out on-site in order to preserve a strong sense of terroir identity. Long ageing in traditional cellars allows the spirits to develop depth, complexity, and balance.
With this Pellehaut 2005, Grape Of The Art offers a contemporary yet faithful interpretation of Ténarèze: a rare single cask where grape variety, terroir, and time express themselves without compromise.
“Grape of the Art” (GotA) is a project that showcases exceptional Armagnacs and Cognacs, bottled in single casks and without reduction, to satisfy rum and whisky lovers. The concept was born of a group of enthusiasts in Stuttgart who, after discovering the quality and diversity of Armagnacs, decided to devote themselves to this French eau-de-vie. Their aim is to reveal the hidden treasures of small producers by selecting rare, unaltered casks.
