The T.D.L (Trinidad Distillers Limited) distillery, also known as Angostura, is the only operational distillery in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, located on the outskirts of the capital, Port of Spain. It was founded in 1949, although rum production in Trinidad dates back to colonial times. Known worldwide for its famous Angostura Bitters, T.D.L produces mostly light Cuban-style rums.
